Jan‑Apr, 2001: Invited by the following artist groups to
lecture and demonstrate at their premises: Mercer Island Art League, Sky
Valley Artists Guild, Artists United, and the Seattle League of Arts.

Jan‑Mar, 2001: At the Clymer Art Museum (Ellensburg, WA)
along with her solo exhibition of oil paintings, the artist presented
lectures on the French, Russian, and world‑wide Impressionist painting
movement, with an emphasis on how these artists had influenced her work.
She also did an outdoor painting demonstration on painting snow scenes and
indoor demonstrations on color harmony.

Participated in "Fresh Paint" ‑ sponsored by the Arts
Council of Snohomish County. Painted and demonstrated outdoors and
displayed finished painting along with other paintings at the Monte Cristo
Hotel, Everett, WA. Summer, 1999.

Frye Art Museum, Seattle, WA. Invited to conduct workshops
for children and adults in drawing and painting. "On Color in Oil
Painting" for adults, and "Drawing For Young Artists" for children, in
Spring, 1997. March, 1998 workshop for adults: " Painting Color And
Light". Extended course for children in drawing, April/May 1998. In
Spring, 1999, became an instructor in Workshops For Educators on applying
art in the classroom. Also was given the responsibility of developing a
"Master Art Program" for children that would reinforce the Washington
State Guidelines for Children In Art ‑ a program still in use.

Founder of Rancho Pintura, which sponsors summer workshops
for local, national and internationally known artists to lecture,
instruct, demonstrate and show their work. Features outdoor (plein‑air)
painting on location on the banks of the Swauk Creek in Blewett Pass,
Cle Elum, WA., or in the adjacent mountains and surrounding countryside.

Mill Creek Art Foundation Festival, Sept. 1997. Selected as
featured artist. Painting titled "Spring Tea" was chosen in a juried
competition as a limited edition poster to represent the Festival.

Martha Lake Gallery and Studio, opening of the gallery and
studio in February, 1996. Began teaching fine art classes for adults and
children in February, 1996.

accepted, October, 1996.

Ovanes Berberian Oil Painting Workshop, Carpinteria, CA.,
assistant instructor ‑ 1995.

Organized and led an art workshop/study/tour for 16 artists
to Shanghai and Hangzhou, China. Attended the world famous Zhejiang
Provincial Fine Arts Academy, an outstanding institution known both for
its traditional paintings and Euro‑Western style teaching methods.

Established a teacher‑student atmosphere for art
instruction and creative activity at the Red Cross Street Kids
International Center, a facility attended by 75 to 100 children daily, in
Lusaka, Zambia ‑ 1994
