In the Palm Springs area, and throughout the beautiful Coachella Valley, there are many different varieties of palm trees.  As an artist, after many years of painting fir trees in Washington State, it has been exciting to become acquainted with the special and different appearances of the palm trees.  I continually enjoy painting the light as it falls on the different shapes and color of the trees.
