Because I enjoy plein air painting so much, I continue to prefer landscape painting for the majority of my work.  Many of my smaller paintings are also selected to be used as the subject for larger canvases that are executed in the studio.  As an impressionist artist, my desire is to capture the harmony of the light which is created at each scene and will always be different.   

I enjoy traveling to different locations and experience painting new scenes. I believe that the method of painting that I have chosen, gives me a sense of the place which I believe can also be enjoyed by the viewer in looking at my paintings.
